Gloworm Performance Products was founded by mountain bike and outdoor enthusiast, Bruce Davey.  The company was born from a small business that aimed to make night riding affordable for all and now it has developed into what you see before you today.

The team at Gloworm have been riding from a young age, mainly road cycling and mountain biking. For us, riding is a culture and one that we have enjoyed and relished over the years.  As the company's roots lay in night riding as does our passion.  Always looking forward to the end of daylight savings when we could charge up those batteries, check those connectors and get ready for the maiden night ride of the year.

Gloworm Performance Products now develops quality in house products in addition to a range of prestigeous brands from around the globe.  Gloworm aims to bring the New Zealand public well manufactured and engineered products and back that up with outstanding customer service.

The manufacturing arm of Gloworm is based in Asia and managed by project management and procurement specialist, Vaggelis Monogyios (Greek), the owner of Microchina Ltd .  Vag is the brains behind the procurement and manufacturing of Gloworm's in-house products while Bruce works with deisgn, sales and brand procurement.
